At the very heart of the Schur®Star Concept are the Schur®Star bags, which are supplied on a unique string. This construction ensures uniform machine infeed, as well as a stable and consistent packing process.
The concept of premade bags eliminates any machineability issues.
Another unique advantage of premade bags is the fact that the bags remain closed from the time of production in our factory, till they are opened for filling on the bagging machine.
After production in our factory, the Schur®Star Bags are carefully placed in a carton or a plastic box, with orientation adapted to the conditions of the packing process.
Many products require that product related information like traceability data, production or sell-by date, or weight or quantity, are added for late differentiation. Customised marking can take place during the filling process, and the options comprise printing with thermal transfer or inkjet, or label application of pre-printed or unprinted labels, the latter then being provided with data during the packing process.
Late differentiation is also an economic way of using generic bags when the bag quantities do not justify full product identification on each bag variety.
